Tamper Tantrum

Steve Leighton of Ireland’s Has Bean Coffee has been a prolific video blogger for a while now (if you haven’t checked out his archives, look here).

And now, in the funniest and most clever new pod/video/blog cast idea to come along in a while, Steve teams up with 2009 Barista Champion of Ireland and fourth-place finisher at the 2009 World Barista Champion, Colin Harmon, in a new video blog called “Tamper Tantrum.”

Seriously, I couldn’t believe Reg Barber hadn’t already bought the url… Anyway, Steve and Colin’s first installment of the blog was filmed recently, just prior to the Caffe Culture show. In it, they discuss various brewing methods, farms and lots of which they’re particularly proud, and what’s current in coffee. It’s fun to watch, as Steve and Colin have the kind of chemistry and humor that very good friends share. Check it out!
