One Question: Do they need judges?

In another sign that the professional barista community continues to grow all around the globe, the tiny, tropical island nation of Vanuatu is holding its second annual International Barista Competition next week. The nation of 235,000 people lies deep in the South Pacific some thousand miles north and east of the tip of Australia.

I hope the competition is a great success and that next year they’ll be interested in having some visiting judges. Or maybe the folks at Coffee Fest Hong Kong right now will be stopping by on their way back to the States.
