Friends from Panama visit the Northwest

Ken and I are excited to go to Stumptown’s Meet the Producers event tonight where we’ll hear from esteemed coffee producers Ricardo Koyner of Duncan Estate, Rachel and Daniel Peterson of Hacienda La Esmeralda, and Carlos Aguilera of Carmen Estate.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place tonight at Stumptown’s Downtown Portland cafe, at 3rd & Ash, at 6 p.m. Kyle says: “We will be featuring a special roast of Carmen as espresso. All 3 Esmeralda lots will be served as Melitta. Carmen will also be brewed as French press alongside another of our favorite Panamanian coffees, Duncan Estate.”

Tomorrow, these producers will head up to Seattle to give a presentation and tasting at Stumptown’s Roastery (1115 12th Ave.) at 6 p.m. Once again, the event will be free and open to the public.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet some of the most renowned producers in Panama and indeed, the world! Viva Panama!
