The cost of coffee has gone up significantly in recent years—but prices may get even higher. On July 9, Donald Trump threatened a 50% tariff against Brazil: one of the U.S.’ main suppliers of green coffee beans. Consumers may see price hikes beginning in August.

A recent study published by the International Journal of Molecular Sciences reveals that daily consumption of black coffee (caffeinated or decaf) may help prevent the development of type 2 diabetes by controlling blood sugar levels and enhancing insulin sensitivity. Click here to learn more.
