Our dear pal Jason Dominy of Dilworth Coffee in Charlotte, N.C., has been working for months on preparations for the Southeast Regional Barista Jam and Southeast Regional Skill Building Workshop, which began yesterday and continues through the weekend.
Above, folks in Charlotte are getting this party started! Jason, in green hoodie, steaming the first of hundreds of gallons of milk to be steamed this weekend, at right. Photo snagged from Paul Yates' Facebook page.
If you’re in the Charlotte area, stop by Dilworth ”2400 Distribution Street ”and join in the fun! And if you’re sadly too far away to be there in person, like we are, look for Jason’s write-up of the event in the December/January issue of Barista Magazine!

We had a blast, and that was just the start. Today was great! Really pumped about tomorrow!
