Trick or treat, my sweets! The end of spooky season is upon us, but there is time for one last hurrah before the ghosts and ghouls pack up back to Halloweentown.

We’ve gathered some devilish ideas to thrill and enthrall coffee lovers who stumble into your dark chambers.

Matcha of Madness

Coffee is not the only beverage that will give you goosebumps. Denver’s gremlin and tea warlock Rowan Self dreamed up a matcha latte fit for any ghoul worth their salt circle. The Spectral Matcha combines the powers of high-grade matcha, bergamot, white chocolate, and oat milk for a green scream. ”It tastes like cereal milk. … I’m proud of it. I cracked the recipe for Froot Loops,” Rowan proclaimed.

What’s New, Scooby Brew?

Last year Walkie Talkie Coffee struck fear into the hearts of citizens in Canton, Ohio, with their spooky drink menu. This Halloween, they return with other seasonal sensations inspired by the Scooby Gang.

The SC’UBE SNACK is made from espresso with the familiar flavors of vanilla and cinnamon, but what really thrills us is the use of ube milk, which provides a fresh flavor profile and pop of purple color.

Other drinks from our fiendish friends include Bone Apple Tea, THE DAPHNE, and the Let’s Split Up (a no-no in horror films, but a definite yes for this chocolate banana sea salt potion).

Cold Pumpkin Concoction

Lest we forget the humble pumpkin—our friendly neighborhood jack-o-lantern, and a seasonal favorite we just can’t get enough of—we turn our attention to a homemade treat sure to please.

Jimmy the Barista is a maestro among mortals, and has devilishly decided to share a pumpkin drink creation for the masses. His recipe for Dairy Free Pumpkin Cold Foam uses real pumpkin (not just the spice), and whips up nicely atop a cold brew or a melt-in-your-mouth hot drink.

We hope you’ve been mystified and inspired by these clever concoctions. Go forth and imbibe to soothe your soul!
