Screening: Colombia, in Portland

Stumptown Coffee Roasters, which is based here in Portland, Ore., is known for the stunning films it’s had created of source trips through Africa, Central and South America. Trevor Fife, who ”along with Autumn Campbell ”has created these films, which I consider some of the best and brightest ever to be made about coffee ”turns his camera toward Colombia, where he traveled with Stumptown’s head green buyer, Aleco Chigounis, to create Stumptown’s latest film project.

The postcard alone communicates how beautiful this film will be...

Colombia will have its debut screening on Sunday, November 27, at 7 p.m. at the Clinton Street Theater. Matt Lounsbury of Stumptown tells me that he’s encouraging all Stumptown employees to attend the screening along with any interested members of the coffee loving general public, as this will be the very first opportunity that ANYONE has had to see the film.

Aleco will stick around to discuss particular challenges and successes of Stumptown’s projects in Colombia after the film.

Everyone is welcome! However, you MUST RSVP for the event to be guaranteed a seat. Email events@stumptowncoffee.com as soon as possible.

See you there!
