and your 2010 WBC Champ MIKE PHILLIPS USA!!!!

The crowd gathered at the WBC Awards Ceremony
James Hoffmann with "The Envelope", i.e. the results!
All the WBC finalists assembled on stage: from left, Raul from Guatemala, Stefanos from Greece, Scottie from Australia, Soren from Denmark, Colin from Ireland, and Mike from USA.
And then there were three... from left, Raul from Guatemala, Scottie from Australia, Mike from USA
This photo was shot the moment it was announced that Raul from Guatemala won 2nd place, which meant Mike from USA won first.
Outgoing WBC Champ Gwilym Davies of the UK asks Mike some questions, like, hey, how do you feel about being the big man on campus now?
Mike tears up as he thanks his friends, coworkers , boss, and Mom and Dad.
And there they are, the six best competing baristas in the world. Bravo to all!

  1. I doubt the exact coffee used in Mr. Phillip’s competition performance is available, but try intelligentsiacoffee.com (or stop by one of their stores in Chicago or LA) and you’ll find an array of excellent coffees.

  2. Please can you tell me where i can but the coffee Michael Philips used. Thank you very much
