We’re thrilled to debut the August+September 2016 issue of Barista Magazine today!

This is our annual, commemorative World Barista Championship  (WBC) issue, so it’s loaded with photos and reports from the amazing event that took place in Dublin, Ireland, in June. We’ve also got an interview with newly-crowed WBC Champ Berg Wu of Taiwan, a photo yearbook of all 61 National Barista Champions; features on each of the six WBC finalists’ signature drinks, and much more!

The issue isn’t  all about the WBC though. We’ve got interesting tales from producing countries (coffee in Brazil and tea in China); a terrific exploration of the science of nondairy milks; an interview with the brilliant (and hilarious) Alan Adler, inventor of the AeroPress; the debut of a new feature called “Split Shot” in which industry veterans tackle tough, and sometimes controversial, questions; and much more!
