The annual World of Coffee event lands in Sweden to great success
It’s been a busy week here in Gotëburg, Sweden, site of the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe’s annual World of Coffee conference and expo. The whole thing began early with the debut of Re:co, a forum for the industry’s leading thinkers and doers to discuss the most relevant and important topics in the international coffee world right now.
Re:co led directly into the conference, which I’ll honestly say is the very best SCAE World of Coffee event I’ve ever been to ”this conference has grown in size, quality, and program, and it’s been almost impossible to keep up with the myriad activities, competitions, cuppings, exhibitors, and special events taking place at this year’s show. It’s been fantastic.
Please look for my article with more details about this entire, lovely week in Sweden in the August+September issue of Barista Magazine. For now, enjoy some scenes from the ground here in photos.
Love the photo where you have the barista magazine tshirt, but hold on that’s a beer, not a coffee!? i hope you at least had a coffee to cure the hangover.
