No, that's not bad coffee. It's Sammy Piccolo's 2009 WBC sig drink.
We spend a lot of time here at Barista Magazine writing about, thinking about and drinking some awesome coffees. Turns out, however, that a lot of other people out there don’t.
So instead of a five best coffee drinks, here’s a list of the five worst. The list, note, is not based on taste, flavor, technique or anything other than health. It’s pretty brutal, especially the last one with 1,790 calories and ninety, yes 90, that’s right 90! grams of fat.
Kenneth R. Olson (he/him) is co-founder and publisher of Barista Magazine the worldwide trade magazine for the professional coffee community. He has written extensively about specialty coffee, traveled near and far for stories, activities, and fun, and been invited to present on topics important to coffee culture. He is also an avid fan of the Portland Trail Blazers, the Washington Huskies, and public libraries.
Thanks for the post, I’ll definitely read it, 90 grams of fat in one coffee? Can’t believe it!
