BMag Back Atcha – Week of July 1-7

Welcome to BMag Back Atcha our weekly blog-in-review post. We had a lighter than usual week of posting here at the BMag blog with the 4th of July holiday landing squarely on a Thursday and keeping us out of the office and celebrating America! So we didn’t have a Humpday Giveaway this week, but don’t worry, we’ll be right back on it this coming week so you’ll have another chance to win a great prize just by answering a trivia question. Tune in on Wednesday to play!

Just because it was a holiday week, however, doesn’t mean we didn’t have some great content here on the blog, so without further ado, let’s review!

First we had a report from Erin Meister of Counter Culture Coffee (and BMag’s copy editor) about Counter Culture’s Sustainable Summer program where you can make small (or large) changes in your life and enter win to great prizes. Talk about a twofer!

Then Sarah had a recap post about the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe’s event in Nice, France which also was the home of the World Latte Art Championship and Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.

That was followed by another recap post from the event by  Luzia Taschler of Germany which featured all of the finalists’ pours from the World Latte Art Championship.

Finally we had an invitation  from Kait Berreckman of Beansmith Coffee in Omaha, Nebraska, to their upcoming first-ever Thursday Night Throwdown. If you’re in the area, make sure to mark it down for July 18 and get yourself there!

Get Up, Omaha!

Thanks again for visiting the BMag blog! See you again on Monday!
