BMag Back Atcha “ Week of February 10 “16, 2014

We’re just back from our annual company retreat and excited to get started with all the cool plans we made for Barista Magazine, this blog, and a lot of other fun things we have in the works! As we were out of the office all week, we had a little bit less news on the blog than usual, but we still posted quite a few relevant news articles and tons of fun profiles of coffee leaders we’re inspired by. On  Monday, we shared a really cool story about Big Island Coffee Roasters, which is a farm, mill, and roastery owned and operated by coffee lovers Kelleigh Stewart and Brandon von Damitz.  Read all about them HERE.

On  Tuesday, we brought you a super cool feature on Bunna Cafe, a coffee outfit out of Brooklyn, N.Y., which strives to introduce the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony to coffee lovers far from the motherland. On  Wednesday, it was time for Barista Magazine’s awesome weekly trivia contest, Humpday Giveaway! Our friends from Cafe Imports put up a sweet prize package. Read about it HERE!
