Blogging the WBC

At the 2009 World Barista Championship in Atlanta, Georgia, next week (April 16 “19), Barista Magazine will once again be blogging in detail about the event. For the past two years ” in Tokyo in 2007, and in Copenhagen in 2008 ” Barista Magazine has provided up-to-the-minute coverage of each and every WBC competitor.

The live feed is a wonderful thing, and is again being provided for this year’s WBC at the World Barista Championship website. But if you missed a competitor on the live feed, or if you haven’t the time to watch the whole thing, play by play, we’re here for you!

Ken and I will be stationed at the WBC stage from the beginning of Day 1 (April 16) to the end of Day 4 (April 20) to photograph and blog about every competitor, from Argentina to Zambia. Of course, on Day 4 ”Finals Day ”we will cover the intricacies of each of the six finalists’ performances, along with plenty of photos.

We encourage you to leave comments here or email me directly at sarah@baristamagazine.com about what you would like to see included in our coverage, and we’ll do our darndest to serve you right.
