Baristas, brewers, and all coffee professionals in between flocked to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, to compete in one of many world coffee competitions. World Coffee Events, the organizing body, hosted four competitions: the World Brewers Cup, the World Latte Art Championship, the World Cup Tasters Championship, and the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.

The competitions took place November 7-9, and brought national champions across the globe together to battle it out for the top prize. In June, Agnieszka Rojewska won the 2018 World Barista Championship; the winners below join her as the slate of coffee champions for the 2018 season.
