Coen van Sprang can ROCK a headband, that’s for sure. He can also rock a barista competition, as he proved in today’s 2012 WBC Semifinals round.
Coen begins preparing his signature beverage.
Cool and calm from start to finish, Coen expertly explained his coffees and prepared lovely cappuccinos for his judges.
Coen keeps a watchful eye on his espresso as he steams milk for his cappuccinos.
In his signature drink, Coen created 2 reductions: one of flowers to add a “beautiful elegance,” and one of spearmint and lemon thyme, the lemon thyme, he explained, to marry the coffees in the cup.
