Unofficial French Coffee Month

I hereby deem this the unofficial month of specialty coffee in France. There are a bunch of reasons for this, which I’ll reveal bit by bit in the coming weeks, but to start it all off, we’re excited to see that Paris’ seminal cafe Cafeotheque ”considered the first of Paris’ progressive coffeehouses in terms of specialty focus ”will be hosting a latte art competition that all of the city’s barista community is excited about!

If you happen to be in Paris on Saturday, June 15, you should feel free to join the fun happening at Cafeotheque! But if you’re stuck at home like I am, you can look forward to photos and a story from the event next week, right here on our blog, as Barista Magazine is a sponsor of the event.

Stay tuned!
