Well, I really don’t know where to start. My dear friends at Barista Magazine have offered me refuge for the week at BMWHQ (Barista Magazine World Head Quarters) as I am in transition from Portland to Seattle. Tonight, I realized my vocal support of past United States Champions entering the WBC has been most lacking, at best. And tonight, I decided to change all of that. So, I have hijacked the Barista Magazine blog, Pasteboard, to wave my flag across the world.
All I have to say is:
I encourage all baristas from around the globe to offer the same type of support to their champions, because goddamn, this is going to be one hell of a competition.
