Japan Preparation

In my ongoing effort to prepare myself for visiting Tokyo, I took a moment (or 1/2 hour precisely) to watch the “Mr. F” episode of Arrested Development last night. It’s the episode where Gob builds a model train set which is then set up to fool the Bluth’s Japanese investors who are told it’s the new development far away on a hill in the distance. Then as always seems to happen to Tokyo, it’s an attack by a giant monster, in this case a mole:

But have no fear, because I also learned that you can now mail-order jet pants! Which you can use to fight the giant mole, if you can activate the jet without killing yourself.

Ok, so I’m not really sure that I learned anything useful about Japan, but it was awfully funny. And I cannot wait until Superbad opens next month.
