Yesterday’s Humpday Giveaway contest was kind of special: it requires a time and partial financial commitment, which is why we weren’t surprised to have fewer players than usual. We appreciate that you guys who did decide to play took this opportunity seriously: the prize ”$559 toward Barista Camp registration, for camp October 13 “16 in Southern California ”requires that the winner pay the remaining $300 of camp registration (the cost, which includes meals and lodging, is $859 total for BGA members) and figure out their own transportation to the event, which is being held at Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage, California.

This amazing gift of $559 towards camp registration is being offered by a longtime specialty coffee industry person that I’m retty sure most of you know, or at least know of. She’s awesome, and she’s dedicated to your success. She’s simply making this contribution out of the kindness of her own heart, and wants to remain anonymous.
