Get Ready, Washington: It’s the 509 Barista Jam!

Our friends at Blue Star Coffee Roasters in Twisp, Wash., only love one thing as much as coffee, and that’s their community. Just look at how owners Meg and Dan Donohue have gotten involved with the student cafe at Granite Falls High School, and how they welcome coffee lovers, whether they’re educated or looking to learn, every day at their cafe in Twisp.

Meg wrote last week to tell me about a cool way she and Dan are going about spreading the word on the 509 Barista Jam: “Dan and I will be taking our show on the road tomorrow and Thursday, and traveling to Spokane, Walla Walla and the Tri Cities to promote the event and invite baristas to attend. We’ll be tweeting from the road, and would love to tag barista mag in our posts.”
I encourage you to register now — this event is right around the corner. It’s seriously going to be one of the most fun coffee and barista events the Northwest has ever seen ”YOU SHOULD ALL GO!
