Summer School with Heather

Seriously, folks: I’m not a barista, but if I were, I would want Heather Perry kicking my ass into being all I could be. This woman means business: I actually think I would hire her to kick my butt about getting better at anything (watch out, Cole) ”she’s a fighter, she’s a winner, and she expects big things from the people she spends time with.

Heather Perry is one of the best barista trainers in the biz: she has trained loads of barista competitors and has seen amazing results.

Heather was the United States Barista Champion in 2003 and 2007, and when she came in 2nd in the World Barista Championship (WBC) in 2007, she achieved the highest ranking an American had ever reached. Though two Americans have won the WBC since then ”including reigning champ, Heather’s dear friend Pete Licata ”Heather still holds the record for highest ranking woman in the WBC competition.

She's tough, man: Heather will make you work hard. But you'll become a better ”much better ”barista for it.

Heather offers regular classes through her family’s company, Klatch Coffee, in Southern California. But folks: if you want some Heather time, don’t delay: she’ll be taking some time off to have her second child in November, so who knows when she’ll be offering these training classes again!
